The Freeway T100 plus-size shower chair is a shower, toilet, and commode chair specifically designed for plus-sized clients with limited mobility.
Engineered to withstand heavy loads, the T100 shower chair is built with increased diameter tubing, heavy-duty castors, and robust footrests. With these reinforced features, it accommodates weights of up to 350kg (55 stone) without compromising stability or safety.
The chair is coated with an antimicrobial and antibacterial coating to ensure a hygienic and durable option for toileting and bathing. This protective coating resists the hospital superbug MRSA and bacteria like E. coli, salmonella and listeria. The seat, armrests and backrest are covered in a hard-wearing, flame-retardant material, facilitating easy cleaning and increasing the chair’s durability.
The Freeway T100 plus-size shower chair includes the following configurable options:
- Seat choices – Various options are available, including widths, seat types, and coverings. This gives maximum comfort to the user and can be easily replaced as needed.
- Additional accessories – Various armrest and footrest options allow you to design a chair that meets the client’s needs and works in the space available.
- Bespoke configurations – The shower chair can also be customised to suit the user. For example, we can offer a seat width from 590-890mm in 50mm increments.
