The Freeway T60 shower chair is a rear-wheel, self-propelled shower, toilet, and commode chair designed to support users with limited mobility. With its customisable widths, this chair caters to individual needs, making it an ideal solution for various users.
The chair is coated with an antimicrobial and antibacterial coating to ensure a hygienic and durable option for toileting and bathing. This protective coating resists the hospital superbug MRSA and bacteria like E. coli, salmonella and listeria. The seat, armrests and backrest are covered in a hard-wearing, flame-retardant material, facilitating easy cleaning and increasing the chair’s durability.
Equipped with high-performance 510mm (20”) puncture-proof braked wheels at the rear and plastic and stainless-steel castors at the front, the Freeway T60 guarantees smooth manoeuvrability even on uneven surfaces or the ramped edges of a shower cubicle. This self-propelling shower chair is ideal for side transfers, as the top of the wheels is below the chair’s seat.
The Freeway T60 rear-wheel, self-propelled shower chair is equipped with anti-tip bars and includes the following configurable options:
