Description

The Freeway TX Advanced track hoist is an exceptional lifting aid that facilitates the transfer of individuals with limited mobility. It is designed to provide comfort and support to the user during the transfer.

Our user-friendly ceiling track hoist minimises risk and strain for caregivers, making it an ideal choice for both professional and home care environments. Also, a considerable advantage of a ceiling track hoist is its ceiling-level installation, which optimises floor space use and enhances mobility within the area. With the ability to be installed across multiple rooms and using an H-system, the Freeway TX Advanced allows seamless access to the entire floor space, revolutionising how people are lifted and transferred.

The hoist boasts a sleek, low-profile design and comes equipped with powered traverse capabilities, a superior battery, and an impressive lifting range of up to 2000mm. Furthermore, it has a maximum lifting capacity of 272kg and offers complete flexibility with a range of track layouts to cater to diverse needs. The Freeway TX Advanced requires a compatible fixed ceiling track system and a sling to ensure optimum performance.

To further enhance the functionality of the Freeway TX Advanced, we offer several optional features:

  • Quick-release trolley (QRT): The quick-release trolley enables swift removal of the hoist. This results in simplified servicing or replacement procedures. It is exclusively available with the manual traverse option.
  • Constant charge: A continuous power supply is provided to the hoist when it is left on a straight section of the track. This ensures the battery remains charged whenever needed.
  • Powered H-system: The powered H-systemĀ  enables forward, backwards and side-to-side movement. As a result, the user is empowered to be effortlessly transferred to any point within the tracks. Additionally, it allows the hoist to remain fixed in position, preventing unintended movement under pressure.
  • Powered turntable: With the powered turntable, the hoist creates a junction between tracks, enabling smooth transfers to multiple destinations using a single hoist.

We proudly design, assemble and test the Freeway TX Advanced in the UK. We are thrilled to have obtained certification from TUV, validating our adherence to the highest standards.

If you need a transportable option, why not check out one of our mobile gantries (Prism Pressure Fit and Prism FSG) and the CP200?

Why not pair this hoist with one of our popularĀ slings?

The hoisting system requires a sling for correct use. Slings are available in various materials, shapes, and sizes to suit multiple requirements.

Mackworth, Prism and Care-ability branded slings provide excellent levels of comfort and support to the patient. We recommend these slings for use with the Freeway TX Advanced hoist.
