When lifting patients, sometimes a permanent ceiling track installation may not be feasible or appropriate. In that case, a portable gantry system with removable hoist comes into play. For example, our Prism Pressure Fit Gantry System, combined with a portable track hoist like the Prism CP200, offers the perfect solution for single-handed home care. As a result, individuals can continue living in the comfort of their homes for many years.
The gantry system is lightweight and compact, making it easy to transport and assemble, even in tight spaces. Furthermore, it is constructed from high-strength aluminium, the gantry combines six main pieces to form a sturdy, semi-permanent structure. A major benefit of a gantry is that it can be used without any structural modifications to the building. The gantry accommodates ceiling heights ranging from 2.1 to 2.8m (or 7 to 10 feet) with its adjustable height feature.
Our Prism Pressure Fit Gantry System offers a cost-effective solution that a single person can assemble without needing tools (although we recommend two-person assembly). It has a safe working load of 200kg, catering to the needs of both the patient and the caregiver and providing a safe and dignified experience for all.
